Excellent hotel, staff were excellent, would definitely return.

The property was modern, stylish, rooms were large, shower was excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good. Swimming pool was clean, sun beds were comfortable, beautiful location.

Lovely spacious rooms, quiet and relaxing environment with pleasant staff

The room was very spacious with a balcony, nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating especially the manager Maria.

It was very far from the beach and the sea view wasn’t so great from the room and felt the pictures they had shown on website were misleading. However when I pointed this out they were very quick to rectify and transferred me to their sister hotel with a better sea view which I was really grateful for.

Small pool, needs maintenance. Parking needs renovation. 3-star quality. Friendly staff and manager.

I rarely leave comments, but this time I wanted to do so to warn people considering booking at the Villagio Boutique Hotel. Here is my very objective opinion on this hotel: The staff and the manager are nice and kind. The dinner was good, though there were not many choices, which is understandable given the number of people dining in the evening. We appreciated having watermelon for breakfast in the morning.

The numerous positive reviews and the overall rating on Booking made me choose this hotel, even though I knew from additional research that the pool was very small. Regarding the pool, it is indeed small, but what bothered us the most was that it was not clean or well-maintained. It did not make us want to swim in it. If your main criterion is a nice pool, this hotel is certainly not for you. The hotel does have private pools, but we did not have the chance to try them. However, a room with a private pool opens directly onto the reception and the stairs leading to the restaurant or the rooftop pool. We noticed that this pool was also not clean, and more importantly, if you book this room, the pool is not private at all, as you are exposed to the passage of hotel guests. Similarly, some ground floor rooms have a terrace with the same issue. Our room was very beautiful, but I did not sleep well the first night due to the noise from the air conditioning. I reported this issue to the reception, but it was not resolved. We eventually got used to it. The hotel parking is very small and chaotic; it really needs work. I still do not understand why a hotel that claims to be 4-star has not addressed this issue. If you park your car, you risk damaging the undercarriage due to the numerous holes and uneven ground. Moreover, the parking can only accommodate about ten cars. The breakfast is the same every morning and just adequate. As a coffee lover, I did not like the coffee. If you want a good coffee, you will also have to pay for it. The design of the hotel is peculiar, and there are many stairs, which could be difficult for some people to access their room. For us, this was not an issue. The towels for the pool or the beach, advertised as free, are not really free. If you want to change them, you have to pay 1.50 euros per towel per day, after paying a 10-euro deposit which is refunded when you return the towels. Taxi costs 10 euros each way to Hersonissos center.

Super hotel, super staff, super facilities, crap food :)

The staff were genuinely welcoming, we felt genuinely welcomed, the room was very clean and very comfortable, the swimming pool ultra clean and being adults only it was quiet

Not many facilities, and it's pretty far from anything, which in some ways is good, the breakfast was never ready at 7:30 and always very slow to put out. The food in general was not very good and the options weren't very vast, all the meats were dried out and inedible, not what we expected given the usual high standards of Greek cusine. But if you're going to the hotel only for the food, it's a waste. it's a superb hotel, but you can not have everything :)

This was a last minute booking for us, but a great find. Lovely quiet location with super staff. The room was very luxurious, with a great shower and super comfy bed.

Quiet area. clean new rooms, nicely arranged.

The dinner wasn't so great, although the price was very fair. The rooms on the first floor have no windows, there are big glass doors facing the patio, and thus facing everyone that passes by and the room across from it, so if you want to let air in there's no privacy. I was given such a room and asked to be moved to a different one, which cost me extra. So when booking make sure which room you get

Breakfast service could be a bit chaotic. Lack of cups, glasses, water, cutlery etc. Hotel currently overlooks an active building site - loads of noise throughout the day and not a great view from the balcony

The hotel was in a quiet spot but near lots of restaurants, and there was a train shuttle to take you around the island . Maria was very helpful The pool and views amazing

Would be better if Deck chairs were to be cleaned more often and a better range of free soft drinks with meals. Would be nice to have the bar tender to come to the table's and the deck chairs to get your drinks.

The pool and roof top views were gorgeous, very clean, easy check in/out

My birthday vacation

I want to start with a huge thank you to the one who saved my vacation MARIAH SKARAKI I arrived at the most beautiful hotel I've ever been to, with the most amazing receptionist I've ever met, Maria Skaraki . The hotel is located a short drive from the city center, very suitable for couples. I arrived alone and wanted quiet, but for me alone the hotel was too quiet. And I didn't take a car in my budget. The second I contacted Maria, she made phone calls and made sure to find me a hotel located in the city center so that I would be close to everything and would not need a car. Everything was with a smile and joy! The best service I received in one hour of staying at the hotel. Maria you are amazing! Huge thanks!! it's not taken for granted!!

Great hotel

Perfect location,quiet, very large room. We got an upgrade from a standard room to one with pool and a sea view. Was a nice experience and we enjoy it. The design of the room is unusual and make you feel very confortable. Maria and Marina were very professional and make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was also very good and varied and with quality products. I recomand this hotel and will return in the autumn.
